Chocolate Chip Blondies

    For my last post for my blog project in Computer Science I will be sharing a recipe for how to make chocolate chip blondies. I have had these blondies many times while eating at my schools dining hall and they are very good. This recipe is easy to make and does not take very much time to complete.

Ingredients You Will Need

  • 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs, (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup of butter (melted)
  • 1 1/2 cups of packed brown sugar
How to Make the Blondies

Start by preheating the oven to 350-degrees.

Take a large bowl and mix together the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs until they are blended.

Next you should combine the baking powder, salt and flour.

Add the ingredients you mixed together most recently into the bowl with the first mixture with the brown sugar.

After combining both of the mixtures together into the same bowl, you can add the chocolate chips in as well and mix them together.

Now you will need a 13x8 inch baking pan. Make sure you grease it before you add the blondie mix to it.

Spread the blondie mixture evenly across the bottom of the baking pan.

Place the pan into the oven and let it bake for 18-20 minutes or until you can stick a toothpick into the middle and it comes out completely clean.

Take the pan out of the oven and allow it to cool for some time. Once it has been able to cool you can cut it into bars.

Once you have completed the recipe and now have some blondie bars, you can enjoy them with a nice glass of milk or a side of your favorite ice cream!
